Most individuals bid at the **cut-off price**, which means "whatever the final price turns out to be". When you do, your bank blocks money at the cap price of INR 1,665 per share. If the final price is lower, the difference is released after allotment.

## EAAA IPO lot size

The minimum bid is **9 shares**, and you can bid only in multiples of 9. One lot costs INR 14,985 at the cap and INR 14,265 at the floor.

### Bidding more lots does not mean more shares for retail

If the retail portion is oversubscribed, each successful retail applicant typically gets at least one lot, subject to availability, and the rest is allotted proportionately. In heavily oversubscribed issues that usually means one lot each, by lottery. Bidding the retail maximum does not improve your odds of getting the first lot. ## Money you need in the account

- Keep the full amount in the bank account linked to your UPI ID or ASBA application. It stays blocked, not debited, until allotment.
- The block is released on or about Friday 30 October 2026 if you get nothing, per the RHP timetable.
