FAQ
What does the NIFTY 50 heatmap show?
Each tile is one NIFTY 50 stock. Tile size is free-float market cap (the index's own weighting). Colour is the 1-day percentage change from NSE's latest session. Sectors are grouped in blue frames.
Is this live or delayed?
We fetch NSE's market-watch indices feed on the server and cache it briefly during market hours. After the cash market close, the page shows the latest completed session and labels the NSE timestamp. Treat it as delayed / session data, not a trading terminal.
Can I download the heatmap image?
Yes. Tap Save image to download a picture of this heatmap for the session — same layout and colours as on the page.
Why might the page say the heatmap is unavailable?
If any expected constituent is missing, has no sector in our map, or has an unusable free-float market cap or % change, we refuse to render a partial basket rather than guess.
