Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR)
The share of claims an insurer paid out of those it received.
CSR measures how many claims an insurer settled versus received in a period. A high, stable ratio is a useful shortlist filter, but it mixes all claim types and does not capture speed, deductions, or dispute handling, so read it alongside complaint data.
