Non-payable Items (Consumables)
Hospital items like gloves and kits that base plans often do not pay for.
IRDAI publishes a list of items, such as gloves, masks and admission kits, that plans may exclude. Some plans pay them anyway, for example through HDFC ERGO's Protect Benefit, or through a consumables add-on.
