EBLR (External Benchmark Lending Rate)
A loan rate linked to an outside benchmark, usually the repo rate, reset at least every three months.
Since 1 October 2019, RBI has required banks to link new floating-rate retail loans to an external benchmark. Your rate is the benchmark plus a spread fixed in your loan agreement. Some banks call it RLLR (repo-linked lending rate).
