Pre-hospitalisation Expenses
Medical costs in the days before an admission, such as tests and consultations.
Plans pay for tests, medicines and consultations in a set window before admission, provided the hospital claim itself is admissible. The window varies: 60 days in HDFC ERGO Optima Secure and Care Supreme, 90 days in ICICI Lombard Elevate, 30 days in Star Red Carpet.
