APR (Annual Percentage Rate)
The yearly cost of borrowing on a card, charged when you revolve a balance.
APR is the annualised interest rate on unpaid card balances. Because card APRs are high, carrying a balance quickly outweighs any rewards, which is why paying the full statement balance every month matters most.
