Credit Score (CIBIL Score)
A number from 300 to 900 that tells lenders how safely you handle credit.
Credit bureaus such as TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark calculate it from your loan and card history. About 750 or more usually gets the best loan rates. Each bureau must give you one free full credit report a year, and checking your own score does not lower it.
