PED Waiting Period

How long a policy waits before covering pre-existing diseases.

The pre-existing disease waiting period is commonly 36 months, and shorter in some plans: 24 months in Niva Bupa Senior First, 12 months in Star Red Carpet and Star Young Star. Some plans sell an add-on to reduce it.
