Sub-limit
A cap on a specific treatment or expense inside your sum insured.
A sub-limit restricts what a plan pays for a named item, such as cataract surgery, a disease group or ambulance charges, even when your sum insured is larger. Senior plans such as Star Red Carpet use disease-wise sub-limits.
