GST on Health Insurance
Individual and family floater health premiums carry no GST since 22 September 2025.
CBIC Notification 16/2025-Central Tax (Rate) made individual health insurance, including family floaters, nil-rated from 22 September 2025. Group and employer-sponsored policies still carry 18% GST.
